About us
We built the company we wished existed when we were buying.
Rukmini International is an Indian agri-commodity export house. Our work sits between the grower and the importer: selecting the right belt for each product, enforcing grading standards that hold up under inspection, and shipping paperwork that clears customs the first time.

Origin
We start where the crop is at its best, not where it is cheapest.
Six belts, direct relationships, traceable lots.

Our approach
Quality is decided long before the container is sealed.
Most export problems begin at procurement — the wrong belt, the wrong season, the wrong grade bought on price alone. We start there instead of finishing there, which is why our consignments rarely surprise anyone at discharge.
From ICUMSA-graded sugar to suta-sorted makhana and sortex cumin, each product line has its own checklist, its own packing standard and its own testing protocol.
We are deliberately small at the front and deep at the back: one export desk that knows your account, supported by a network of processing units, laboratories, inspectors and freight partners that we audit ourselves.
Our story
Born out of frustration with how commodities were being sold.
Indian agri-commodities are world class. The way they are often sold is not. Buyers receive a beautiful sample and an ordinary container; specifications are verbal; documents arrive late and clearance costs money that was never in the quotation.
Rukmini International was founded to remove those three failure points. We put the specification in writing, we grade against it, and we treat documentation as part of the product rather than an afterthought. Every stage has a named owner, and the buyer has one number to call — no chain of agents to chase.
“Connecting global opportunities means being the partner our buyers can describe in one sentence: they send exactly what they promised.”
What we stand on
Origin first
Buying at the belt where the crop performs best gives us grade control, better pricing and traceability back to the mandi lot.
Written specifications
Nothing is described as 'good quality'. Moisture, mesh, colour value, purity and packing are agreed in writing before production.
Documentation discipline
COA, phytosanitary, fumigation, certificate of origin and shipping documents prepared in parallel with production, never after.
Long relationships
We would rather refuse an order than send a lot that damages a buyer's line. Repeat business is the only metric we track.

Our promise
Five commitments we make on every order.
- 01We name the belt and the season your lot came from.
- 02We never substitute a grade without written approval.
- 03We photograph the container at stuffing and send the seal number.
- 04We test to your destination's limits, not to the easiest limit.
- 05We answer on WhatsApp, not through a ticket queue.
